Chicago Bull’s pursuit of their first NBA Title since the Michael Jordan era is dashed because Derrick Rose is out for the rest of the playoffs. Rose injured his foot/leg during game 1 against the Philadelphia 76ers. He suffered the injury with only a minute or so left in the game, with his team already leading by 12points. Questions are being raised as to why he was still in the game when the Bulls already secured game 1. Nevertheless, the 76ers currently now have a 3-1 series lead and they will try to eliminate the Bulls on Monday Night. Now only are they without Rose, but Noah and Deng are playing hurt. Rose is supposed to be durable, but he missed many games this season. Reason? Maybe the team is asking too much of him; being the main focal point of the offence and playing PG at the same time. I’m afraid their Title hope is over.

Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard is out for the rest of the season, including the playoffs. He recently underwent back surgery to repair his injured back. He may have already played his last game for the Orlando Magic. His relationship with coach Stan Van Gundy is nothing but rocky (i.e.: rumors about D12 telling upper management to fire Stan). D12 kept changing his mind this season whether he really wants to be traded. If I’m the GM, I would’ve traded him because he couldn’t keep his word and is just a distraction to the team. He ended the season averaging 20pts and 14.5 rebounds. He will not play for Team USA at the London Olympics this summer.

Yes that’s right, Brock Lesnar is officially returning to the WWE. He wasted no time by targetting John Cena the night after Wrestlemania. The night after Wrestlemania, John Cena wanted to call out the Rock on RAW, but instead, Brock appeared. He entered the ring and offered Cena a handshake, but instead, Brock did the F15 on Cena! And then one week after that, Brock knocked out Cena and bleeded his mouth  in the middle of the ring; all the WWE wrestlers then showed up to split the two. Brock spent several years in MMA/UFC and he had decent success. He retired from UFC after losing in the 1st round to Alistair Overeem. Cena will square off against Brock at Extreme Rules.

Yes! Daniel Bryan lost to Sheamus in 18seconds at Wrestlemania, but his popularity has suddenly shot through the rough since then. Everytime he shows up in the ring, he’s very over-confident of himself and would shout Yes! Yes! Yes! Lately, the fans have caught on to his unique personality and there are Yes! signs everywhere! I’m pretty sure he’s enjoying the moment, as this will only make him more popular. At first I found him to be a “boring” Champion, but his character is definitely growing on me! Even without the Championship Title around his waist, I think he could still succeed in the WWE. Yes!

One word to describe what has happened so far in the 1st round: WOW. Almost every team in the playoffs turned have turned it up a notch. Is more physical, more intense, and more drama. Brendan Shanahan will have his work cut out because there are tons of dirty and illegal hits. Yes the fans love it and is pure entertainment, but star players such as Crosby and Giroux are seen being in the middleof scrapes. I don’t think is necessary for star players to get into fights, but I definitely respect their courage! The biggest suprise is the matchup between LA Kings and the Vancouver Canucks. Who would’ve thought the Kings would take a 3-0 lead in the series? Most people wrote the Kings off, but Jonathan Quick is playing out of this world and their defence is blocking a ton of shots. Vancouver will need a miracle to pull this off! The other suprise is the Flyers’ 3-0 lead against the heavily favorite Penguins. The Pens are falling right into the Flyers’ trap. The Flyers play a physical brand of hockey and the Pens (so far) simply have no answers. Crosby and Malkin are off their games, playing right into the hands of the Flyers.
